While the eLibrary lists free eBooks under various copyrights and licenses, we encourage authors to publish books under a CC-by-SA or CC-by-NC-SA license. The two licenses allow anyone to adapt the book with the condition that the adapted version must also allow other authors to adapt. Since every author is likely to keep "good stuff" and contribute more good stuff, the CC-licensed books will become better and better.
